Dear Members,

Work is underway with the courts, however due to the rain delays in June and the unexpected complications at the site, the Town of Oakville has advised that the contractor now expects the courts to be ready by mid-August.

Given the shortened season,  next year’s membership fees will be waived for all members.

Should you wish to receive a full refund for the 2017 membership fees , please send an e-mail to and we will mail out your refund.

It has been very frustrating not being able to get out and play on the courts and we sincerely apologize for the delay.

Provided we have good weather over the next 5 weeks, we are hoping the courts will be open by August 15th.

Good is commencing.....

As many of you have noticed, there has been very little work done on the courts to date.
When the contractor started to remove the penetration asphalt surface, they found a solid layer of asphalt about 3-6” below the surface that was not reported when the Town had conducted geotechnical testing earlier in this year.

The Town is currently making changes to the work order for this issue, with the expectation that full construction will resume this month.

At this stage, the courts will not be open until early August.

Thank you for your patience and continued support through this arduous process.  We will be adjusting next years renewal fees due to this extended delay.
